Board of Management

As a charitable entity, we are governed by a diverse Board of Management who represent the key stakeholders crucial to support our objectives. The Board of Management is also responsible for the strategic planning and direction for Youth Up Front in partnership with our CEO.

Industry reference groups and subcommittees are also utilised to support consultation and development of new initiatives.

Lynne Mabb

Chairperson

Lynne Mabb is a Senior Pathways Officer for the NSW Department of Education.

She has worked in the education sector for over 30 years and has extensive experience in vocational education, career services and transition support.

Lynne is our longest standing Board member.

Jack McCann

Deputy Chairperson

Jack McCann is the director of McCann Accounting.

McCann Accounting is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Since 1983 they have serviced the Sydney area and have clients both Australia wide and internationally.

McCann Accounting specialises in medical practices, self managed super funds, as well as the tax and accounting needs of small to medium business and individuals.

Sylvia Borg

Treasurer

Sylvia Borg is the Principal agent of Realty Options, a bespoke real estate agency and property management specialist.

Sylvia is also a qualified book keeper.

Matthew Tanks

General Member

Matthew Tanks is the founder of Comotion Learning, a Sydney based people and change management specialist.

Matthew has a strong passion for learning and development as well as being a change management specialist.

Samuel Chu

Board Member

Samuel Chu is a law graduate serving at Prolegis Lawyers.

Prolegis Lawyers is an incorporated law practice established in 2001. We exist solely to provide specialist legal services in relation to charities, not-for-profit organisations and philanthropy.
