Work Placement Support Request

2024 has again been a challenging year and in particular to the process of Work Placement Coordination. With an increase in complexities that impact smooth and successful placement, we appreciate your prompt response to providing the details below. A more detailed confirmation will be provided by Week 2 of Term 4 this year outlining the next steps and required communication moving into 2025. Our current Work Placement Support strategy has been to work with local schools and RTO's and link local employers within the immediate region of the School/RTO. Our focus has been on making the process streamlined for all parties and ensure a realistic experience for students.

What this means is that in the following Request process; **ALL PLACEMENTS WILL BE BASED ON STAGGERED/PROGRESSIVE RELEASE - there will be no commitment to block periods of all placements for a class in one week** Students commencing in Year 11 in 2025 will be offered placements from Term 2 - Week 1 until Term 3, Week 10 including holiday periods where suitable. Students continuing in Year 12 in 2025 will be offered placements in Term 4, Week 1 (of 2024) through to Term 2, Week 10 (2025). Support for Board Endorsed Courses which have a mandatory Work Placement component will also be in place. Please refer to the noted section. The same conditions will apply for BEC work placements in 2025. Please indicate in the relative column whether it is School Delivered BEC, TAFE or Other RTO. If we need more details, the team will be in touch.

Before you proceed, please ensure you have the following details ready for submission as part of your 2025 Work Placement Calendar Request; **VET Coordinator details **School Principal Details **Career Advisor Details **Details for all classes including vocation, estimated class number, teacher details **Details of UNAVAILABLE weeks for placement so that offers are not used at this time. A copy of your submission will be emailed to you at the end of this request form. Please ensure that the relative School Leadership is aware of the details provided. Please note: no details are confirmed until receipt of the personally addressed confirmation email. This will be sent by Week 2 of Term 4 from our CEO. **THIS IS NOT THE FORM SUBMISSION CONFIRMATION**
